Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Test Technician onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will perform fault isolation for test failures, verify repairs, and collect test data with engineers to drive improvements in military and commercial aviation systems.

The role requires reading complex electronic schematics, operating test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer), and collaborating with engineers on data trends. HS diploma + CETa exam required; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Must pass the CETa exam from ETA-I.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing using DMM, oscilloscope, frequency generators, high frequency power supplies, spectrum analyzer, etc.
• Collect, document, and report on tests performed.
• Evaluate test results.
• Ability to read complex electronic schematics, analyze circuits and follow written work instructions.
• Employ a comprehensive knowledge of electronic theory.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Capability of working independently as well as in a group setting.
• Must be able to lift/carry equipment or parts up to 25 lbs.
• This is a 1st shift role. Must be willing and able to work 1st shift.
• This is a 100% onsite role.
