Job summary

Suntory Global Spirits (Beam Suntory) in San Antonio, TX, seeks a General Market Manager to lead the local market strategy for Off- and On-Premise accounts, drive distributor performance, and align with national goals.

You will mentor a multi-role market team, set targets, manage budgets, run category and brand plans, and ensure compliance with corporate standards while delivering sustainable volume growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
• Proven ability to lead market teams and manage distributor relationships.
• Strong knowledge of distribution, promotion, and selling techniques.
• Experience in spirits industry and channel management.
• Willingness to travel intermittently.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor the market team to achieve KPIs and NSV targets.
• Align Suntory and distributor to maximize on/off premise penetration.
• Develop category and brand plans, and execute promotional activity.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and manage budget.
• Provide monthly training to distributor sales forces.
