Job summary

ARCO Companies seeks an experienced construction leader to manage projects from planning through execution in Dallas, Texas. You will oversee timelines, budget adherence, and safety, coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results.

The role requires travel to sites, strong supervision skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. ARCO values safety, integrity, and teamwork in a fast-paced design-build environment.

Qualifications

• OSHA certification and familiarity with safety protocols.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including long standing, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Attend the post-award review meeting to receive project information and details for preplanning.
• Assist the project manager in preparing a schedule of construction activities and staffing.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to integrate their work with schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors of schedule changes promptly.
• Assist in preparation of job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review and approve requisitions, field PO's, invoices, and other significant documents.
• Cooperate with owner representatives and architects to align project goals.
• Hold site meetings with the project manager and regional manager.
• Maintain a daily diary recording significant project facts, events, and approvals.
• Direct adherence to the company’s safety program across all phases.
