Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies is looking for an experienced Lead Superintendent to manage ground-up commercial projects nationwide from planning through completion. You will coordinate field operations, subcontractors, and schedules to deliver on time and within budget while maintaining ARCO's safety standards.

The role requires 5–25 years of leadership on large-scale projects, willingness to travel, and proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years' experience leading ground-up commercial projects.
• Willing to travel as projects require; able to work from anywhere in the US.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.
• Experience using an iPad or similar tablet is highly preferred.
• Willing to travel regionally within the Southeast as needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award meetings to receive project details and preplanning information.
• Develop and manage construction schedules, structure, staffing, and equipment needs.
• Direct total construction activities to meet specs, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractor work and ensure integration with project plans.
• Promote safety and ensure adherence to the company's safety program.
• Prepare progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs and changes.
• Communicate with owner representatives and architects to resolve issues.
