Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Altoona, IA seeks a Senior Teller to handle daily teller transactions in both lobby and drive-up locations. You will deliver outstanding client service, develop client relationships, and recognize referral opportunities for additional products and services.

Essential duties include processing deposits, loan and mortgage payments, currency exchanges, and maintaining cash drawer accuracy while adhering to bank policies and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash handling and customer service in a banking or retail setting.
• Knowledge of check and cash-handling standards and regulatory requirements.
• Able to handle confidential information and maintain client trust.

Responsibilities

• Process teller transactions at lobby and drive-up windows.
• Deliver personalized client service by phone and in person.
• Help with referrals and cross-sell banking products where appropriate.
• Maintain accuracy in cash drawer and reconcile transactions.
• Comply with bank operations, security procedures, and training requirements.
