Job summary

Texas Bay Credit Union in Houston is seeking a Lead Teller who will supervise the Teller line, assist management with closing procedures, and ensure safe, accurate cash handling while delivering an exceptional member experience.

You will process member transactions, educate members on CU products, maintain logs, and support training and performance programs to foster a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of teller or related experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service to members by following established expectations.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers and other transactions.
• Manage cash drawer and reconcile daily totals; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Educate members on Credit Union products and services to meet personal goals.
• Maintain appropriate storage for member documents and logs.
• Ensure closing logs and ATM logs are accurate per policies.
• Act as branch supervisor on Saturdays and support training and teamwork.
