Job summary

Texas Bay Credit Union in Houston, TX is seeking a Branch Representative to provide member service support to Tellers and Financial Services Representatives, handling deposits, loans, and account maintenance with accuracy and courtesy.

You will process consumer loans from application through disbursement, educate members on CU products, resolve issues, and uphold OFAC and security policies while maintaining cash drawer integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year cash handling and customer service experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Completion of required training courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous member service following established expectations.
• Process account maintenance (deposits, withdrawals, debit cards, stop payments, transfers) per policy.
• Process consumer loans from application through disbursement and review for insurance on collateral.
• Educate members on credit union products and services to meet personal and financial goals.
• Resolve member issues, escalate when needed, and maintain accurate records and OFAC compliance.
• Maintain cash drawer balance with system totals and secure drawer at all times.
