ViaPath in Tennessee seeks a Telecommunications Site Technician 4 to perform remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability servicing at client sites within the territory.

You will represent ViaPath to customers, manage service calls, and travel to multiple sites, including potential overnight trips; a High School Diploma and 4+ years of tech troubleshooting are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years’ experience troubleshooting and/or other relevant technical experience.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Experience using wiring diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Proficiency with Windows OS, MS Office, and related software.
• Experience with telephony and networking (copper, CAT5/6, fiber).
• Ability to wire color code and fabricate data cabling.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Overtime may be required in the field with potential overnight trips.
• Work environment may involve access to government sites and security constraints.

Responsabilités

• Serve as an ambassador for ViaPath and demonstrate service excellence.
• Provide service of ViaPath products at customer sites and assist customers as needed.
• Prioritize and plan assigned service calls.
• Communicate updates related to service calls.
• Escalate problems when appropriate.
