Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• Cisco CUCM administration, ACD training, basic network knowledge.
• Design, installation and support experience with telecommunications equipment.
• Experience with PBX administration, Voice Mail administration, ACD administration and dial peers.
• Knowledge of healthcare environment.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills, Documentation and inventory skills, Organizational skills and Solid analytical skills.
• Ability to follow directions from Senior staff members, Team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Achieves maximum availability of the BHS Network Based Telecommunications Voice systems through effective installation and maintenance of the equipment throughout the facilities.
• Assist network engineering staff in planning telecom infrastructure capacity build out and network grooming projects.
• Implement technology solutions along with participation as a team member in Project implementations.
• Compilation and analysis of Network-Based statistical data into statistical reports for capacity planning.
• Assist the Telecommunication Manager with vendor contracts.
• Ability to perform regular Network-Based Voice System Management functions.
• Provides technical support as needed, to assist in resolving network-Based and standalone Voice specific problems: Handsets, peripheral, hardware, software, Call routing response time problems.
• Ability to provide basic network administrative functions and application support on supported systems.
• Provide support and mentoring for the lower tier Voice-Network Engineers.
• Adherence to BHS IT methodologies and standards i.e. project methodology and technology standards.
