Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer to ensure stable voice, video, and wireless telecom services across our network. You will install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize telecom hardware, software, and links, collaborating with IT to resolve issues.

The role requires familiarity with Cisco/Avaya ecosystems, and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting in a hospital IT environment.

Qualifications

Associates degree in Computer Science or related field required.
High School Diploma with 3 years IT experience may be accepted instead of an Associates degree.
1 year experience with Cisco Unified Communications or Avaya preferred.
1 year experience troubleshooting large-scale voice implementations preferred.
1 year experience with Ethernet, LAN, WAN, SIP, H.323, G.711, T.38 preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure stability and integrity of in-house voice, video, and wireless telecom services.
Participate in installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of telecom systems.
Analyze and resolve telecom hardware/software problems promptly.
