Job summary

IES is seeking a General Superintendent to lead on-site coordination for large telecommunications projects in Montgomery, AL. You will ensure safety, quality, and financial performance while managing staffing and materials.

Responsibilities include recruiting and supervising staff, interfacing with client representatives, maintaining project profitability, tracking costs, and ensuring timely delivery. Travel is required; overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Five years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Three years as Lead Communications Technician or similar position.
• Five years in telecommunications or related field.
• Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office.
• Must meet Company driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise project staff.
• Plan for profitability, deadlines, and budget.
• Liaise with customer representatives on-site.
• Review job costs, invoices, and financial reporting.
• Ensure safety and quality on site.
• Lead on-site meetings and training sessions.
• Manage tools and truck inventory.
