Job summary

IES is seeking a Superintendent to lead the day-to-day execution of medium to large-scale projects, overseeing field operations, staffing, safety, and scheduling. You will drive productivity, resolve challenges, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that meets customer expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, budget awareness, and the ability to guide teams through complex installations while maintaining a sharp focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, construction, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Lead Communications Technician or in a similar field leadership role.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to define project scope, develop estimates and work plans, and manage projects through completion and customer turnover.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Oversee daily field operations, staffing, workload distribution, scheduling, and installation progress.
• Manage project budgets, labor, job costs, profitability, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects meet Company and customer expectations for safety, quality, schedule, productivity, and budget.
