Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced technical writer to own and maintain Salesforce documentation, primarily for Agentforce Sales and related suites. You will craft content for Admin, end users, and developers, translating complex tech into clear, approachable material.

Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and UX, you will produce online help, guides, and in‑app assistance while defining scope and managing stakeholder expectations in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience documenting software for Admin and end user audiences.
• Ability to write accurate, concise, and approachable content.
• Familiarity with Gen AI tools and concepts and a desire to use gen AI to expedite the content development lifecycle.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Experience juggling multiple priorities and defining scope with content and engineering stakeholders.
• Ability to self-manage and prioritize to align with teams.
• Ability to quickly learn complex technologies.
• High standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Experience with XML-based authoring tools like Markdown, Oxygen, Flare.
• Experience with source control such as Perforce or Git.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Customer advocacy and collaboration in Agile environments.
• Experience with Salesforce products and AI tools for content creation (desired).
• Experience creating API documentation and reading code samples (desired).

Responsibilities

• Own, create, and maintain documentation and in-app assistance for Salesforce applications, primarily Agentforce Sales and Salesforce Suites.
• Create comprehensive, accurate, and approachable content for Admin, end user, and developer audiences.
• Help audiences understand and connect with complex technical subjects.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, the user experience team, cross‑functional stakeholders, and other writers.
• Produce online help, in‑app assistance, guides, videos, and other content.
• Define scope where ambiguous and set and manage expectations with content and engineering stakeholders.
• Work in an Agile development environment.
