Lead Technical Writer

Salesforce is seeking a Lead Technical Writer to own, create, and maintain documentation and in-app assistance for Salesforce applications, primarily Agentforce Sales and Salesforce Suites. The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of experience documenting software for admin and end-user audiences, with strong project and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to self-manage while working in an Agile environment. Experience with XML-based authoring tools like Markdown, Oxygen, or Flare, and source control systems such as Git or Perforce is required. Familiarity with Gen AI tools and concepts is a plus, as is experience with Salesforce products and API documentation. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, approachable content for diverse technical audiences.

This position offers a base salary range of $143,400-$216,900 annually, with higher ranges in select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas.
