Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a talented Tech Writer/Editor for a remote, full-time role within the Veterans Affairs department. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in technical publications, HIPAA/EDIFECS familiarity, and U.S.

citizenship with a Public Trust (MBI) clearance. Responsibilities include creating and refining technical documents, coordinating writers, and ensuring quality across manuals, reports, and proposals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing, editing, and maintaining technical documentation and manuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication with high grammar and document quality.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly docs.
• Experience collaborating with SMEs, PgMs, engineers and stakeholders.
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and collaboration tools.

Responsabilités

• Write and update reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related publications.
• Coordinate activities of multiple writers and editors.
• Ensure conformity with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Develop solutions to moderate-scale problems in documentation projects.
• Represent the organization on specific projects and during engagements.
• Support proposal development and government contracting efforts.
