Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a Senior Group Manager, Technical Training to lead the development and deployment of dealer technical training, including instructor-led and digital curricula. The role drives recruitment, education and retention to boost dealer profitability and customer satisfaction, and oversees Hyundai’s LMS for technical training.

The position emphasizes data-driven training, collaboration with sales and service teams, and strategic leadership of LMS

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 10+ years in automotive service operations.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• PM and LMS experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate multi-skilled personnel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong project tracking/management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, development, and delivery of technician training curriculum.
• Develop long-term plans for curriculum expansion and tech integration.
• Oversee LMS strategy, projects, budgets, and implementations.
• Manage budgets, vendor performance, and staff resources.
• Coordinate training and travel for National and Regional staff.
