Job summary

Hyundai Motor Company seeks a District Sales Manager in the Plano, TX area to support dealers across the district with sales, product distribution, merchandising, advertising, customer assistance and training. The role requires extensive overnight travel and a high level of independent judgment to safeguard Hyundai’s dealer relationships.

The candidate will lead dealer training, optimize market representation, and collaborate on promotions, CRM initiatives, and data-driven performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Six or more years of experience, with at least three years in wholesale automotive, retail experience a plus
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills
• QMF query ability
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• The District Sales Manager will be responsible for assisting dealers in all facets of dealership operations including sales support, product distribution, merchandising, advertising, customer assistance and sales training.
• Conduct in-dealership sales training.
• Provide merchandising and sales promotion support to dealers.
• Coordinate auto show display needs within district.
• Provide merchandising and sales promotion to dealers.
• Develop fleet sales through fleet account contacts with dealers.
• Review and analyze dealership financial performance and advising on profitability, floor plan and working capital.
