Job summary

DatologyAI is seeking a Senior Technical Talent Partner in San Mateo to own critical research and engineering searches from definition to close. You will collaborate closely with founders and technical leaders, shaping who we hire and how we hire them, reporting to Head of People.

You’ll lead full-cycle recruiting for senior technical roles, run proactive sourcing, and design interview loops that predict success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting, with startup or high-growth experience.
• Proven track record of hiring strong technical talent.
• Ability to source passive candidates and reach beyond the on-market.
• Technical fluency to discuss with engineers and researchers.
• Experience closing complex offers including equity.
• Comfort with ambiguity and bias for building, measuring, and improving.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for senior and specialized technical roles across research, ML engineering, and infrastructure.
• Run proactive sourcing to find and engage passive talent, including researchers from top labs, PhD programs, and high-growth AI companies.
• Partner with hiring managers to define roles, calibrate on the bar, and design interview loops that predict success.
• Lead offer strategy and close candidates, including equity conversations and competing offers.
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience that reflects how we treat people.
• Use data to track pipeline health, spot bottlenecks, and keep leaders informed.
• Build scalable processes, tools, and playbooks as the team grows.
• Mentor recruiting teammates and raise the bar for how we hire.
