Apollo is hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to own hiring for complex R&D roles across Engineering, Data Science, and Security in the SF Bay Area. You will deliver strategic searches, build AI-powered workflows, and partner with engineering leaders to shape role scope and market realities.

You will drive sourcing beyond LinkedIn, use data to influence decisions, and manage offers with People Ops, while maintaining candidate experience and velocity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting.
• Experience hiring Senior and Staff Engineers in competitive markets (SF Bay Area).
• Strong sourcing chops with top-of-funnel ownership.
• Hands-on AI fluency; ability to build AI workflows.
• Proven ability to influence hiring managers with data and market insight.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle hiring for senior and specialized R&D roles (Backend, Frontend, Fullstack, ML/AI, Data Science, Security).
• Build multi-channel sourcing strategies beyond LinkedIn: Juicebox, Claude, referrals, talent mapping.
• Adapt approach in real time based on market signals and funnel data.
• Calibrate pipelines with hiring managers early so the first slate lands.
• Run intakes with success profiles and scorecards; align before sourcing starts.
• Partner with People Ops on offers and onboarding handoff; drive cross-team collaboration.
• Lead hiring sprints and process improvements; implement AI workflows and measure impact.
