Job summary

Customer.io is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting with a heavy emphasis on sourcing passive engineers. You will build targeted candidate lists, run precision outreach, and develop deep relationships with a small set of hard-to-fill roles.

You will partner with engineering hiring managers, calibrate expectations to market reality, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience from outreach through offer.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of sourcing and converting passive candidates.
• Experience running full-cycle recruiting for technical roles with sourcing at core.
• Ability to assess engineering candidates for fit, not just pedigree.
• Influence hiring managers and senior stakeholders using data and market data.
• Highly organized with metrics-driven decision making.
• Experience using AI tools to speed up sourcing and improve outreach.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage passive engineering candidates directly, including non-active job seekers.
• Create and execute targeted search strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
• Own end-to-end recruiting from list creation to offer and close.
• Collaborate with engineering hiring managers to define candidate profiles and adjust strategy.
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience from outreach to offer.
• Provide market insights on engineering talent availability and compensation.
• Leverage AI tools to sharpen search strategy and speed up sourcing.
