Job summary

Customer.io is seeking a Senior GTM Recruiter to join our team. This role emphasizes deep, targeted sourcing for a small, well-defined set of GTM positions, owning searches end to end from candidate lists to offers.

You will partner with GTM hiring managers, calibrate expectations against market data, and use AI tools to speed up sourcing while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with 3+ years specifically in GTM roles.
• Track record of personally sourcing and closing hires through outbound outreach over the last 12 months.
• Experience owning 10+ concurrent GTM searches at a time.
• Direct sourcing across at least 2 of these functions: Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, Business Operations.
• Deep GTM business acumen and ability to discuss what makes someone great in a GTM role.
• Regular use of AI tools in sourcing with concrete examples.
• Comfortable operating without a team and owning searches end to end.

Responsibilities

• Source and personally engage passive GTM candidates directly.
• Build and run targeted search strategies for open GTM roles (Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, Business Operations).
• Own full-cycle recruiting end to end from outreach through offer and close.
• Partner with GTM hiring managers to define profiles and calibrate expectations against the market.
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience from first outreach through offer.
• Bring market insight on GTM talent availability and compensation to hiring conversations.
• Use AI tools to sharpen search strategy and speed up sourcing research.
