Job summary

ZipRecruiter is seeking a senior technical recruiter to own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for complex software engineering roles. You will source passive candidates using advanced search techniques, engage with stakeholders across Engineering, and drive data-driven improvements to hiring processes.

The role emphasizes mentoring teammates, collaborating with the Compensation team on total offers, and achieving high offer acceptance while maintaining excellent candidate experiences.

Qualifications

• Based in the Los Angeles, CA or Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience recruiting and sourcing software engineering candidates.
• Proven success independently managing 10–15+ concurrent complex technical requisitions.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Greenhouse ATS.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders using data.
• Proven track record of recruiting highly sought-after, top-tier tech talent, consistently exceeding quarterly hiring targets.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for complex technical roles, generating a high-quality candidate pipeline and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience at every touchpoint.
• Source passive candidates using Boolean search, X-Ray searching, and AI sourcing tools with personalized outreach.
• Leverage analytics and funnel insights to reduce time-to-hire and influence hiring decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering stakeholders and the Compensation team to construct total compensation offers.
• Lead advanced sourcing workshops or lunch-and-learn sessions to mentor peers.
