Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to partner with drone teams and recruit software engineers with robotics domain experience. The role combines hands-on recruiting with strategic partnership to drive growth across multiple teams in a hybrid Costa Mesa, CA or Seattle, WA office.

You will manage high-volume pipelines, engage with hiring managers, and develop data-driven strategies to close top engineering talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years recruiting and sourcing for technical roles with a track record of closing top engineering talent.
• Experience hiring candidates in robotics domains ( computer vision, perception, motion planning, localization, mapping ).
• 4+ years of client interaction with Hiring Managers/Directors, managing requirements and pipeline progress.
• Consultative recruiting approach that improves outcomes and candidate experience.
• Strong technical understanding of engineering roles and the skills required for those positions.
• Clear, effective communication with candidates to understand motivation and fit.
• Experience managing multiple candidate funnels and tracking progress through recruitment processes.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
• Familiar with diverse sourcing methods and channels.
• Experience in startups/tech and domain experience (AAV/UAS/AUV/Weapons) is a plus.
• Self-sufficient with minimal supervision and ownership mindset.
• Resilient and creative in overcoming obstacles; open to feedback.
• Strong communication and concise information sharing; proactive collaboration.
• Ownership of universe and continuous improvement across processes.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Move fast with a scalable process to source, track, and maintain high-volume pipelines.
• Partner with business leaders to influence talent strategy and deliver hiring results.
• Build trust with cross-functional stakeholders to support company growth.
• Understand product, roadmap, and team culture to pitch opportunities effectively.
• Close exceptional technical talent by aligning mission with candidate capabilities.
• Analyze pipeline data to identify opportunities and drive momentum.
• Develop recruiting strategies that include referrals and process improvements.
• Act as SME in prospecting techniques, data extraction, and candidate management.
• Conduct interviews and align interviewer expectations with hiring managers.
• Engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, and referral campaigns.
