Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for software engineers with robotics experience. The role entails partnering with drone teams, driving data-driven hiring strategies, and engaging passive candidates across multiple sourcing channels.

The candidate will work in a hybrid model out of Costa Mesa, CA or Seattle, WA with in-office expectations three days a week.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience recruiting and sourcing for technical roles and closing top tier engineering talent (startup/software experience preferred).
• Experience hiring candidates within facets of robotics (computer vision, perception, motion planning, localization, mapping, etc.).
• 4+ years of client interaction experience, including working with Hiring Managers and Directors, taking new requirements, reviewing profiles and updating pipeline progress.
• Experience acting in a consultative manner where guidance improves outcomes and candidate experience.
• Strong understanding of the technical skills and experience required for Engineering positions within the business.
• Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and fit within the organization.
• Experience managing various funnels of candidates and keeping track of their progress throughout the recruitment process.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
• Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
• Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues

Responsibilities

• Move fast, with a process for sourcing a high volume of candidates while keeping stakeholders updated.
• Partner with business leaders to influence talent strategy and hiring deliverables.
• Scale growth with cross-functional collaboration and strong operating rhythm.
• Embed into product teams to understand technical roadmaps and culture.
• Pitch teams and opportunities to close exceptional technical talent.
• Analyze pipeline data and translate into a data-driven narrative for momentum.
• Develop recruiting strategies and improve referrals and processes.
• Act as SME for information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, and candidate management.
• Conduct interviews and anticipate hiring manager preferences for high offer-to-interview ratios.
• Engage passive candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Boolean strings, referrals.
• Provide a consistently positive candidate experience with proactive communication.
