Job summary

AssemblyAI is hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to own hiring for our Research team and senior Engineering roles. You will collaborate with research and engineering leaders to understand roles, build outbound pipelines, and run rigorous interview loops.

The role demands deep fluency in ML tooling and a track record of closing senior candidates. You’ll work to hire top researchers and engineers, manage offers and international cases, and leverage data-driven processes to improve funnel health

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, hiring ML researchers or ML engineers
• Strong outbound sourcing network in ML/AI research
• Ability to close senior candidates with equity-heavy packages
• Experience with AI tooling and modern sourcing platforms

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Research and senior Engineering roles
• Build outbound pipelines by mapping talent in ML labs and academia
• Define profiles with leadership and design efficient interview loops
• Conduct screens and provide evidence-based reads to hiring managers
• Lead complex closes including equity discussions for international candidates
