Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting for ML researchers, researchers/engineers at AI labs or AI-native startups.
• Strong outbound sourcing practice and a network in the ML/AI research community.
• Fluent enough to discuss model training, evaluation, and inference with researchers.
• Experience closing senior candidates with equity-heavy packages.
• Comfort with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, JuiceBox and similar AI sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Research and senior Engineering roles, from intake through offer and close
• Build deep outbound pipelines: map talent at frontier labs, speech and audio teams, and academic groups
• Partner with research and engineering leaders to define profiles, calibrate on bar, and design interview loops
• Run thoughtful screens with technical candidates and give hiring managers sharp, evidence-based reads
• Lead complex closes: competing offers from large labs, equity conversations, and international candidates
• Build long-term relationships with candidates who aren’t ready to move yet
• Use data and AI tooling to work faster: smarter sourcing, cleaner Greenhouse pipelines, and clear funnel reporting
• Help the team scale: interviewer training, structured kits, and a candidate experience that reflects our care
