Job summary

Zocdoc in New York is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle searches for software engineering, infrastructure, data, security, product, and other technology roles. You will partner with engineering leaders, shape role profiles, calibrate evaluation criteria, and design effective sourcing plans.

You will cultivate diverse pipelines, streamline hiring processes, and deliver a data-informed candidate experience that aligns with our mission to improve access to care.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in-house for technical roles.
• Deep familiarity with technical roles, leveling, interview processes, and candidate motivations.
• Strong stakeholder partnership and ability to influence senior technology leaders.
• Data-driven mindset with experience using ATS and sourcing platforms to track funnel metrics.
• Proven ability to close high-quality technical talent in competitive markets.

Responsibilities

• Owning technical searches from intake to onboarding handoff across software, infrastructure, data, security, product, and other tech roles.
• Advising hiring managers with market intelligence, realistic expectations, and effective sourcing/assessment strategies.
• Building strong pipelines with diverse talent slates for current and anticipated hiring needs.
• Improving interview workflows, candidate evaluation, decision-making, and overall hiring efficiency.
• Using funnel metrics to monitor pipeline health and provide clear updates to partners.
• Creating an inclusive candidate experience with transparency and equity at every step.
