Job summary

Normal Computing in Palo Alto is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own the end-to-end hiring process for AI/ML, software, and silicon engineering roles. You will partner with hiring managers, source actively, and drive negotiations to close senior engineers in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will maintain rigorous process discipline, run efficient interview loops (4–5 rounds max), and ensure accurate data in Ashby for leadership reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting, including direct experience recruiting AI/ML, software, or semiconductor engineers like researchers, RTL, DV, physical design, architecture, or adjacent roles.
• Track record of closing senior engineers against competing offers, with equity, risk, and conviction as negotiation levers.
• Technical literacy across AI/ML, AI silicon, and custom ASIC development for credible intake discussions.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end recruitment process across AI/ML, software, and silicon roles, from intake to close.
• Strategically source top-tier talent across unconventional silicon architecture and related domains.
• Partner with hiring managers to align on candidate qualifications and calibration as searches evolve.
• Maintain efficient interview loops with 4–5 rounds max to keep strong candidates engaged.
• Ensure data hygiene and pipeline integrity in Ashby for trusted reporting.
