Job summary

Normal Computing seeks a Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting across AI/ML, software, and silicon hardware roles. You will partner directly with hiring managers, source candidates who aren’t actively looking, and close people with multiple offers.

You’ll be part of a small talent team where your searches shape whether a chip tapes out and a deployment ships on schedule, with emphasis on data hygiene and efficient interview loops.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience across AI/ML, software, or semiconductor engineering roles
• Proven track record of closing senior engineers against competing offers, including equity and risk
• Technical literacy across AI, silicon, and ASIC development to hold credible intake conversations
• Fluency in Ashby (or comparable ATS) for candidate tracking, reporting, and automation
• Operational excellence with low ego, ambiguity tolerance, and the ability to move work forward at startup scale
• Experience recruiting for unconventional computing or physics-based hardware architectures (bonus)

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across AI/ML, silicon and ASIC, and software engineering roles
• Strategically source top-tier talent, including passive candidates rarely on the market
• Partner with hiring managers to align on qualifications and technical bars
• Run efficient interview loops with a goal of 4–5 rounds
• Maintain clean data and pipeline flow in Ashby with transparent statuses
• Represent Normal Computing at industry events to engage specialized candidates
