Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to partner with the Maritime Division, owning recruiting from sourcing to offer. You will collaborate with leaders and contributors to define hiring needs, build scalable processes, and pitch roles to top engineering talent.

The ideal candidate has startup, tech, and domain experience, with a track record in sourcing, interviewing, and closing technical candidates.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience recruiting and sourcing for technical roles and closing top tier engineering talent (startup/software experience preferred).
• Experience hiring candidates within all facets of engineering - software, hardware or both.
• 4+ years of client interaction experience with Hiring Managers and Directors, updating pipeline progress.
• Experience acting in a consultative manner to improve outcomes and candidate experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering roles and required technical skills.
• Clear, effective communication with candidates to understand motivation and fit.
• Experience managing funnels of candidates and using HRIS/ATS systems.
• Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.

Responsibilities

• Move fast, source and track a high volume of candidates while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Partner with business leaders to influence talent strategy and hiring deliverables.
• Scale growth with cross-functional collaboration and consistent operating rhythm.
• Understand product, roadmap, and culture to pitch teams effectively.
• Close exceptional technical talent through structured interviewing and data-driven insights.
• Provide a positive candidate experience with proactive communication throughout the process.
• Develop recruiting strategies and improve referrals and processes as needed.
• Serve as SME in information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, and candidate management.
