CesiumAstro, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to build a pipeline of top aerospace and engineering talent for satellites and spacecraft.

You will collaborate with hiring managers to define requirements and attract candidates across engineering, software, and defense disciplines. The role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority requisitions in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university or institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical recruiting within the aerospace, space, and/or defense industries.
• Experience recruiting for aerospace, electrical, mechanical, software, and other engineering positions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with hiring managers to understand the technical requirements of each role and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Proactively source, identify and engage top‑tier technical candidates for various roles in engineering, software development, aerospace, and other relevant disciplines.
• Effectively assess the technical ability and aptitude of candidates for complex engineering roles.
• Consult with hiring managers regarding candidate backgrounds and make recommendations.
• Engage in full‑cycle recruitment from screening applicants to evaluating skills, experience, and cultural fit to negotiating and extending offers.
• Utilize various sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, industry conferences, and networking events, to build a strong pool of qualified candidates.
• Assist with a wide array of additional functions as necessary within a high growth startup.
