Job summary

CesiumAstro, a leading developer of aerospace communications systems, seeks a Senior Technical Sourcer to build and optimize candidate pipelines across systems engineering, RF/communications, avionics, and software. You will partner with recruiters and hiring leaders to identify, engage, and attract top-tier engineering talent globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, ideally within aerospace or engineering-driven industries.
• Proven success sourcing for niche, hard-to-fill technical roles.
• Strong understanding of aerospace and defense roles (systems engineering, avionics, RF, software, manufacturing).
• Familiarity with U.S. security clearances and related hiring considerations.
• Expertise with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, or similar platforms.
• Experience with ATS/CRM systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).
• Strong analytical skills to track and interpret sourcing data.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill technical roles across aerospace domains.
• Build and own high-quality candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Create talent maps across competitors, niche skill sets, and emerging talent pools.
• Drive consistent delivery of highly qualified candidates for assigned roles.
• Advise recruiters and hiring managers on sourcing strategies and market conditions.
• Track and report on pipeline health, sourcing effectiveness, and channel performance.
• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and team needs.
• Proactively engage passive candidates through personalized outreach.
• Conduct initial screenings to assess technical expertise and alignment with CesiumAstro’s mission.
• Build strong candidate relationships and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
