Job summary

G2i is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to run high-volume screening calls with software engineers and move candidates quickly through short processes. The role supports fast-moving frontier AI projects and requires a strong closer who can present opportunities clearly and honestly while hitting tight hiring targets.

This fully remote position serves candidates across Latin America, North America and Europe, with competitive compensation and a quarterly bonus.

Senior Technical Recruiter

About G2i and the team

G2i has partnerships with several frontier AI labs, the companies building the world's leading AI models. We biuld internal engineering teams that deliver technical projects for these labs.

Our small recruiting team owns this part of the business. We work closely with our Lead Recruiter and our Director of Talent. We don't place engineers externally or hire for the labs directly: every engineer we hire joins G2i.

The role

We're looking for a Technical Recruiter who thrives at high speed. Frontier lab projects arrive with little notice, and can require teams of 50 to 150 engineers within one or two weeks.

This is a fully remote role. Most of our candidates are in Latin America, North America and Europe.

• Move candidates quickly through short processes

• Activate the bench and hit tight hiring targets when a new project arrives

• Support other G2i hiring projects when needed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a technical recruiter, hiring software engineers across backend, frontend and full-stack roles

• Experience staffing large teams quickly, ideally at a consultancy, agency or IT services company

• Comfort with high-volume, back-to-back interviewing

• A strong closer who can sell an unusual opportunity honestly

• Creative and resourceful when deadlines are tight and the pipeline runs short

• English C1 for daily calls with candidates and the team

• A pragmatic, get-it-done attitude and the flexibility to put in extra hours during project kickoffs

Nice to have

• Spanish or Portuguese, since many of our candidates are in Latin America

• Experience recruiting for AI, ML or LLM-related roles

• Experience working with US-based companies or teams

• Previous experience working as a contractor

• Contract (about 40 hours a week), starting with a 3-month initial term and the possibility of extension. We're hiring for the long term.
