Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end delivery of strategic IT programs. You will lead planning, execution, and sustainment while reporting benefits to Executive Sponsors and Governance Boards.

You will drive program definitions, identify risks, align stakeholders, and guide teams through ambiguity, applying PMO best practices to continually improve delivery across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in IT program management and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or its equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead program definition, planning, scope, and execution; manage health status and mitigate risks.
• Define integrated program plans with detailed work breakdown structures for success.
• Identify dependencies between programs and scope, size, and lead transformation/growth opportunities.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and communicate status to executives and governance forums.
• Work independently in ambiguous situations to create clear paths forward for teams.
• Adopt PMO best-practice guidelines to continuously improve PMO processes.
