Job summary

Akamai Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end delivery of strategic programs across IT. You will lead planning, scope, and execution, reporting program benefits to executive sponsors and governance boards.

In this role you will partner with multiple functions to define integrated plans, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvements to PMO processes while navigating ambiguous environments. A bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT program or project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience delivering enterprise applications and managing external providers.
• Strong leadership and communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead program definition, planning, scope, and execution.
• Define integrated program plans with detailed work breakdown structures.
• Identify dependencies and scope transformation opportunities.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and report to executives and governance forums.
• Work independently in ambiguous environments to create clear paths forward.
• Improve PMO processes through best-practice guidelines.
