Job summary

Yahoo Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to join the CTO Transformation, Strategy & Operations organization.

You will lead cross-functional efforts spanning engineering, finance, and operations to improve planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technology programs. You will translate complex initiatives into executable roadmaps, manage risks and dependencies, and drive measurable business outcomes using AI-enabled automation and cloud optimization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading complex cross-functional technical programs.
• Ability to understand system architecture, dependencies, and risks.
• Experience partnering with engineering and technical teams to drive plans and outcomes.
• Strong judgment, ambiguity tolerance, and stakeholder influence.
• Experience with Finance or FP&A on budgeting or cost allocation.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional technology programs from strategy through execution.
• Support financial strategy including budgeting and resource efficiency analysis.
• Partner with Finance, FinOps, Engineering, and Infrastructure to optimize cloud costs and drive savings.
• Develop scalable processes, governance, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows using AI-enabled solutions.
• Translate initiatives into execution plans and measurable outcomes for tech and exec audiences.
