Job summary

Yahoo is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to join the CTO Transformation, Strategy & Operations organization to drive business and operational effectiveness across engineering, finance and business teams.

You will lead cross-functional technology programs from strategy through execution, translate initiatives into executable plans, and deliver measurable outcomes for technical and executive audiences, with a focus on AI-enabled automation and cloud cost optimization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional technical programs.
Ability to understand system architecture, dependencies, and delivery risks.
Experience partnering with engineering and technical teams to drive plans and outcomes.
Strong judgment and communication skills, with ambiguity tolerance.
Experience partnering with Finance/FP&A on budgeting and cost allocation.

Responsibilities

Lead complex, cross-functional technology programs from strategy through execution, including scope, milestones, risks, and outcomes.
Support financial strategy and operational planning for Central Technology, including budgeting and resource analysis.
Partner with Finance, FinOps, Engineering, and Infra teams to identify cloud cost optimization opportunities and savings.
Develop scalable processes, governance, dashboards, and reporting for visibility and decisions.
Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows using AI-enabled solutions to increase efficiency.
Translate roadmaps into execution plans and measurable outcomes for technical and executive audiences.
