Job summary

Yahoo is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to join the CTO Transformation, Strategy & Operations organization. You will oversee cross-functional tech programs at the intersection of technology, finance, and operations, translating complex initiatives into executable plans and measurable outcomes.

Ideal candidates will combine technical depth with strong communication, and a knack for driving cost optimization and automation across cloud and enterprise services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Business or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years leading complex, cross-functional technical programs.
• Ability to understand system architecture, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Experience partnering with Engineering and Finance/FP&A on budgeting and cost planning.
• Strong judgment, communication skills, and comfort operating through ambiguity.
• Experience applying cloud/AI tools to improve operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional technology programs from strategy to execution with milestones and risk management.
• Support financial strategy, budgeting, and resource efficiency for the Central Technology org.
• Partner with Finance, FinOps, Eng, and Infra to identify cloud cost optimization opportunities.
• Develop scalable processes, governance, dashboards, and reporting for decision making.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows using AI-enabled solutions.
• Translate roadmaps into executable plans and measurable outcomes for stakeholders.
