Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to join the CTO Transformation, Strategy & Operations organization.

You will lead cross-functional technology programs from strategy through execution, partnering with engineering, finance, and business teams to deliver measurable outcomes. The role blends systems thinking, AI/automation interest, and strong communication to drive cloud cost optimization and operational governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering/Business or related field.
• 7+ years leading complex, cross-functional technical programs.
• Ability to understand system architecture, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Experience partnering with engineering/technical teams to drive plans and outcomes.
• Strong judgment, communication, and ability to operate through ambiguity.
• Experience partnering with Finance/ FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional technology programs from strategy through execution, including scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
• Support financial strategy and operational planning for Central Technology, including budgeting and resource analysis.
• Partner with Finance, FinOps, Engineering, and Infrastructure to identify cloud cost optimization opportunities.
• Drive operational excellence via scalable processes, governance, dashboards, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows using AI-enabled solutions to increase efficiency.
• Translate initiatives into execution plans, business cases, and measurable outcomes for technical and executive audiences.
