Responsibilities

  • Be a strategic partner to senior product, design, and engineering leadership.
  • Become a strong influencer with credibility with peers and stakeholders, capable of building productive, trusting relationships with partners.
  • Run the experiment portfolio, inclusive of velocity reporting, collision checks, launch tracking, and quality.
  • Be a strategic partner with Data Science and Business Operations to improve the experiment process.
  • Drive feature programs such as global expansion and Slackbot-infused initiatives to improve onboarding and invites
  • Own quarterly and monthly planning exercises and process, including exec reviews and roadmap alignment between marketing and product, design, and engineering.
  • Quickly become a domain expert in your space with the ability to articulate how the engineering systems works, process flows, and can quickly recognize dependencies and anticipate and mitigate risks.
  • You understand the product end-to-end, identify dependencies and gaps, and recommend implementations with clear evaluation criteria.
  • Understand the product and problem space beyond the orchestration layer, including customer need, engineering work, and technical architecture.
  • Form your own point of view on the product and roadmap, grounded in the cross-functional team's business drivers and metrics, and influence strategy from the start
  • Transform high-level goals into a logical set of projects
  • Develop, roll out, and improve operational strategies, tools, and processes such as weekly business reviews, impact metric views (in partnership with data science), and executive alignment.
  • Challenge conventional practice and go beyond the stated requirement, building new agentic mechanisms (e.g., AI-assisted tracking, automated status, and risk reporting) that scale operations
  • Build and maintain timelines, project plans, and communication artifacts to ensure everyone is operating from the most recent and accurate information
  • Run program fundamentals (schedule, risks, communications) proactively, with risks and mitigation strategies in place
  • Track end-to-end projects against the committed dates and release schedule
