Job summary

Slack is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead Growth pillar programs. You will partner with engineers, design, product, and senior leaders to drive a self-serve revenue funnel and orchestrate numerous experiments.

You will translate strategy into executable plans and manage dependencies, risks, and cross-functional execution. The role emphasizes technical depth, architecture, and scalable processes to accelerate delivery and impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Agile and Lean product development practices.
• Mentorship of other TPMs and sharing tools, skills, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Be a strategic partner to senior product, design, and engineering leadership and build trust with stakeholders.
• Run the experiment portfolio, including velocity reporting and launch tracking with Data Science Biology? (data) operations to improve the process.
• Drive feature programs like global expansion and onboarding improvements.
• Own quarterly and monthly planning, including exec reviews and roadmap alignment.
• Become a domain expert, articulate architecture, dependencies, and risk with cross-functional teams.
• Translate high-level goals into a concrete set of projects and milestones.
• Develop and improve operational strategies, tools, and processes for executive alignment and reporting.
• Maintain timelines, project plans, and clear communication artifacts for all teams.
