Grafana Labs is seeking a Principal Technical Marketing Engineer (Remote, US) to craft and demonstrate the value of Grafana’s observability platform for SRE and platform engineering leaders. You will build demos, run webinars, and create technical content that translates complex concepts into clear, business-focused narratives.

You will lead technical storytelling across PMM, Product, SEs, DevRel, and Field Eng, leveraging AI to scale assets and ensure consistent messaging across the customer

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical role
• Willingness to travel 10-12 weeks per year
• Strong understanding of observability concepts
• Ability to translate deep technical concepts into clear, value-focused stories
• Experience presenting technical content through demos, workshops, or webinars
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with a crisp, structured, persuasive style
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with PMM, Product, SEs, DevRel, and Field Engineering
• High ownership mindset to drive projects from concept to completion
• Comfort with light scripting or workflow automation

Responsabilités

• Build strategic, buyer-focused demos, videos, workshops, and webinars
• Record high-quality technical demo videos and walkthroughs in partnership with video/content teams
• Lead webinars, workshops, and technical sessions designed for evaluators
• Teach customers not just how Grafana works, but why our approach is differentiated and valuable
• Use AI tools to generate variations, summaries, and reusable assets that scale technical content across channels
• Serve as PMM’s technical liaison to the SE org, ensuring consistent messaging and demo guidance
• Produce technical enablement assets, value-driven talk tracks, competitive narratives, and demo best practices
• Help SEs and sellers communicate Grafana’s story with clarity, confidence, and differentiation
• Partner with PMMs to identify important buyer personas and messages; shape content strategy
• Extend narratives into analyst briefings, industry forums, podcasts, conferences, and online communities
• Bring a technical perspective to PMM planning—align content with real challenges of SREs
• Work with software engineers to automate demo setup and content workflows
• Use automation to make content repeatable and scalable across teams
