Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead Technical Knowledge Consultant to own the knowledge ecosystem, turning field insights and product expertise into scalable learning assets for the technical sales organization.

You will manage, scale, and publish technical updates, coordinate live webinars, and curate training resources. You’ll partner with Product, Operations, Education, and Enablement to ensure knowledge driving seller readiness and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales, consulting, architecture, enablement, knowledge management, or related technology functions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop technical content and learning programs for technical audiences.
• Strong technical aptitude across networking, cloud, security, managed services, and solution based selling
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and program leadership skills.
• Experience driving cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge Management & Content Strategy: curate and maintain the technical knowledge library.
• Establish standards and governance for content creation, review, publication, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure information remains accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with business objectives.
• Provide lifecycle support of technology education content for technical sellers.
• Regularly author and publish technical product and solution updates to the technical seller community.
• Support onboarding, training, certification, and continuous learning initiatives for technical sales professionals.
• Identify knowledge gaps and create scalable solutions to improve readiness and productivity.
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate complex concepts into learning materials.
• Collect and synthesize field insights, lessons learned, and product-related knowledge.
• Convert recurring challenges and customer trends into reusable assets.
• Promote knowledge sharing and adoption across teams and stakeholders.
• Partner with Product, Technical Sales, Operations, Education, and Enablement to align initiatives with priorities.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve knowledge accessibility and impact.
• Support development and adoption of modern knowledge platforms and AI-enabled solutions.
• Optimize content for discoverability and integration with digital tools.
• Measure and report on knowledge utilization and effectiveness.
