Job summary

Karat is seeking a Senior Content Development Engineer to design and build the most technically demanding interview questions for software engineers. You will write and test content across languages, use AI-assisted tools, and lead peer reviews to ensure accuracy and fairness.

You will collaborate with Content Architecture on format decisions and help raise the technical bar for new content, shaping standards and templates for the team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with complex systems or technically demanding content.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced interview content, including multi-step coding exercises in multiple languages.
• Write and test interview content across programming languages, handling the most difficult problems.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to speed up content creation while maintaining high accuracy.
• Lead peer reviews of interview content and set the quality bar for complex material.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with underperforming content using performance data and feedback.
• Partner with Content Architecture on complex format decisions and help raise the technical bar for new content.
• Help shape development standards, templates, and documentation for the team.
