Job summary
Cordial is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will lead the engineering team to build scalable, high‑performance systems, define technical roadmaps, and set code quality standards. You will mentor engineers, drive architectural improvements, and collaborate with product and design to deliver features on time.
You will own technical interviews and help hire and onboard new engineers, while advocating for engineering needs.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience leading work on large-scale systems.
- Strong experience designing scalable architectures and making decisions that scale with the product.
- High standards for code quality and design.
- Skilled at mentoring and guiding others.
- Ability to define roadmaps from business goals and drive alignment.
- Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive in solving hard problems and addressing technical debt.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead technical roadmaps for scalable, high-performance systems.
- Set engineering standards for code quality and design.
- Mentor junior and senior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
- Lead architectural discussions and ensure long-term goals are met.
- Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers on strategies.
- Drive tech debt resolution across the platform.
- Lead technical interviews and help hire and onboard new team members.
