Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Technical Field Services Manager to lead our post-sales technical services team responsible for installing, deploying, and maintaining Exacom Hindsight 4. The role emphasizes delivering reliable service to public safety agencies, ensuring SLAs, and coordinating complex field deployments.

Travel up to 20-30% is required, with a focus on seamless on-site installations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical management experience leading technical support and/or field deployment teams.
• Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary technical teams (remote and on-site).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate a dual-function team of Field Engineers with KPI focus.
• Direct planning, scheduling, and execution of on-site hardware/software installations, upgrades, and system cutovers.
• Manage backlog of projects to close projects and generate revenue in a timely manner.
• Refine support workflows, checklists, and internal knowledge base; handle customer escalations with clear communication.
