Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to join our Workplace Practice in Atlanta. The Sr. TD will lead and contribute to design and construction documentation, coordinating with project teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality interiors projects.

Responsibilities include developing design concepts, producing 2D/3D drawings, mentoring teammates, and ensuring conformance to Nelson standards, codes, and client goals while collaborating with consultants and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or related field.
• 10+ years' experience in architecture/technical design.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team in the preparation of construction documentation.
• Develop design concepts and produce 2D/3D presentation drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Mentor teammates and participate in performance evaluations.
• Ensure documents comply with Nelson standards and applicable codes.
