Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager to drive day-to-day execution for the Agentic AI platform. You will manage delivery cadence, interrogate estimates, and own risk across Kubernetes, GPU infra, CI/CD pipelines, model serving, and agent orchestration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent depth.
• 7+ years in technical delivery, engineering project or program management roles with delivery accountability.
• Hands-on software/platform engineering background or equivalent depth.
• Ability to evaluate estimates, decomposition and risk with evidence.
• Proven track record running Scrum/Kanban for engineering teams and owning the backlog.
• Experience delivering complex multi-team programs with cross-team dependencies and phased delivery gates.
• Proficiency with cloud-native engineering: Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC, distributed systems, API design.
• Experience with Jira or equivalent tools and Git-based workflows and delivery metrics.
• Evidence of holding delivery teams to timelines and quality while retaining trust and engagement.
• Ability to communicate delivery status, risk, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery cadence: run stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retros across multiple teams.
• Track in-flight items and surface slippage; ensure blocked work is unblocked.
• Hold engineers to explicit definitions of done and dated commitments.
• Interrogate estimates and challenge padding with technical judgment.
• Break down architecture into properly sized stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Own sprint and release planning across phased platform builds.
• Manage cross-discipline dependencies and hand-offs between teams.
• Maintain live view of risks, dependencies, and critical path; drive mitigation.
• Report delivery status with evidence: velocity, throughput, cycle time, burn against phase gates.
• Protect team focus by absorbing interruptions and competing demands.
• Partner with leads and architects on sequencing, staffing, and tech direction (you own delivery, they own tech).
• Ideally deliver AI/agentic AI systems and platform/infrastructure delivery.
