Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager to drive day-to-day execution for its Agentic AI platform. You will own delivery cadences, balance competing priorities, and ensure commitments are met across Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and model serving components.

You will interrogate estimates, challenge scope with evidence, and lead multi-team delivery with a focus on usable capability and timely releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; or demonstrably equivalent depth.
• 7+ years in technical delivery, engineering project or program management, or Scrum Master roles
• Hands-on software/platform engineering background or demonstrably equivalent depth
• Ability to evaluate engineering estimates, work decomposition, and technical risk with evidence
• Proven track record running Scrum or Kanban for teams of experienced engineers
• Experience delivering complex, multi-team programs with cross-team dependencies and phased delivery gates
• Proficiency with cloud-native engineering (Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC, distributed systems)
• Experience with Jira or equivalent and Git-based workflows; delivering metrics

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery cadence: run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across engineering teams.
• Track in-flight work to completion and surface slippage and blockers promptly.
• Hold engineers to explicit definitions of done and dated commitments; escalate risks early.
• Interrogate estimates, test sizing, and challenge padding with evidence.
• Translate architecture and platform requirements into sized, independently deliverable stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Own sprint and release planning across the platform build and defend gates.
• Coordinate cross-discipline hand-offs between platform, infrastructure, data, security, and delivery cells.
• Maintain a live view of risks, dependencies, and critical paths; drive mitigations to closure.
• Report delivery status with evidence: velocity, throughput, cycle time, flow efficiency, defects, phase gates.
• Protect team focus by absorbing interruptions and non-essential scope.
• Partner with engineering leads and architects on sequencing and technical direction.
