Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager to drive day-to-day execution of engineering teams building EY’s Agentic AI platform. You will own delivery cadence across multiple programs, run Scrum ceremonies, and challenge estimates to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires credibility with senior engineers and a strong technical background in cloud-native systems, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and AI infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in technical delivery, engineering project or program management.
• Hands-on software or platform engineering experience.
• Ability to evaluate estimates, work decomposition, and risk.
• Proven track record running Scrum or Kanban for experienced engineers.
• Experience delivering complex, multi-team programs with cross-team dependencies.
• Experience with cloud-native engineering: Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery cadence: run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track in-flight items to completion and surface slippage as it happens.
• Interrogate estimates and challenge padding with evidence.
• Break down work into independently deliverable stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Own sprint and release planning across the phased platform build.
• Manage cross-discipline dependencies and risk across teams.
• Report delivery status with velocity, throughput, cycle time, and burn against gates.
• Protect the team’s focus from interruptions and scope changes.
